Managed Data Retention considers of a centralized hosted solution (ASP) which is fully (operational) managed by Group 2000.   In a hosted solution you only have to deliver the information in accordance with the specific legislation towards the managed platform. All other aspects are managed through Group 2000 or an independent foundation. Group 2000 has started negotiations with organizations and foundations which consists of Telco’s and ISP’s to achieve a standardized handover interface specification which makes it possible for all providers to connect to. In case these organizations will manage the processes, they have to be compliant to the EU directive and the Dutch legislation regarding the information requests and retained data output to the authorized governmental agencies.
