The SIMM platform offers its video services to an IP network via SIP. To make the same services available from telephony networks also, is is combined with the market leading Dilithium Transcoding Gateway (DTG series).
The DTG series of products is the leading multimedia gateway designed to deliver a high quality user experience for enabling multiple VAS applications, leveraging a common platform.
It incorporates Dilithium patented and patent pending technologies that enhances the customer experience, including Unicoding™ (minimal delays and maximal lip-synch), VideoRefresh™ (air-interface video corruption minimization), and the AnswerFast™ technologies now standardized as MONA/WNSRP by the ITU-T which reduces the video session setup time from 5-8 secs to around 1sec, comparable to voice calls.
