Prepaid USSD

Group 2000 SIMM/ USSD is an addition to Prepaid IVR. Parts of the same backend services are offered in a different way. By using USSD codes end users can easily request the status or topup their balance.

The advantages of USSD are that the services are accessible in the same way, no matter where in the world you are. On  the home network as on a roaming network end-users can type in a short code (i.e. *101#)  to get immediate response information on their balance..

Next to balance related services  the Prepaid USSD  suite also contains a Callback Application. This application sets up two calls from the home network (to A and B) and connects the two together. By this the operator always has full control over the routing of calls by prepaid users from abroad. The USSD Callback application has extended functions to configure black- and white lists and for checking call forwarding parameters before connecting the call.

The Group 2000 Prepaid USSD application supports integration with several Business Support systems as Surepay by Alcatel-Lucent.
