SIMM messaging platform
SIMM is Group 2000’ platform for carrier grade messaging services. It is built on Sun hardware and the Solaris Operating System using high performance SS7 interface boards. The platform has proven to be a very stable base for demanding messaging applications.
Besides the traditional SS7 - E1 interfaces SIMM also supports IP-Sigtran. This enables Group 2000 to apply the platform to IMS capable networks in which IP technology is being implemented moreover.
The SIMM platform supports MAP, INAP en CAMEL interfaces. This makes the platform a sustainable base for all kind of applications that are typically used in operator networks.
Services based on USSD or SMS are commonly deployed on the SIMM Platform. Add to that the manifold integration options with Billing systems, HLR’s and other back-office systems it will be evident that SIMM is a reliable, proven basis for a multitude of services.
